In this project we had to take 2 image with the same point of focus and a shallow depth of field. We then photoshopped the images together and took out either the blue and green or red to create an image that can be seen as 3D through retro 3D glasses.
In this project we used photoshop to combine components from multiple photos to create the illusion of floating and clones.
Strobes: A light used to produce equal flashes of light
Natural Light: Light from a natural source (the sun etc )
Key Light: Used to highlight the shape and dimensions of the subject
Back Light: Placed behind or at perpendicular angles to the subject to produce effects like depth or separation of subject and background
Fill Light: A light used to soften shadows caused by the main source of light
Tripod: used to hold and elevate a camera, a light, or other equipment
Soft Box: Makes diffused and even light by projecting through a screen, or by reflecting light off of a secondary surface to diffuse the light
Snoot: A cylinder like object that fits over a studio light and allows the photographer to control the orientation and diameter of the light
Backdrop: Cloth used to convey different aspects in studio shooting
Barn Door: Light modifiers that change and direct light
Beauty Dish: A light that uses a parabolic reflector to direct light towards the subject
Gel: A transparent colored lenses like object that is used to color light for color correction
Umbrella: Used to diffuse light
Reflector: A specialized object that redirects light towards a given subject or scene
I chose Addidas as my featured brand because they are my favorite clothing brand. I set up a tripod and had Olivia take 4 photos of me kicking at different heights. I then merged the phoos to create a multiplicity effect with my leg. It was challenging to figure out which heights would look best when merged.
